Membership Information
We meet every Monday, from 10:00 until about 2:00. Our weekly meetings are informal and members look forward to getting together to socialize, work on their projects and participate in group activities organized by the guild.
Policy
-
We bring a bag lunch and our works-in-progress, and we share our talents and questions with our sister Quilters. We hold a formal business meeting on the first Monday of the month. Our meetings continually inspire our members through Show and Tell, where we display quilts completed or in progress; a Block of the Month program with new techniques and styles; and informal interaction between members who range from beginner to experienced Quilters, pattern designers and teachers in the quilting community at large.
We are a guild that supports full group participation. To promote the continuing education of our Quilters, the guild hosts lectures throughout the year that are open to the community at large. We also sponsor classes taught by local or nationally known teachers, and by our talented guild members as well. We also have a lending library of quilting books and videos available to our members.
