We actively support local charities by providing Friendship Quilts to our neighbors in need. All of our members help in cutting, sewing and quilting these projects.
During 2005 & 2006, eighty-four (84) quilts were made and donated by our group to local charities. In addition we gave 40+ small quilted items to the Howard County Hospital NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit.
We also hold a Silent Auction at one of our meetings each November and donate the proceeds to the First Presbyterian Church for their Thanksgiving food baskets to the needy.
