Jacquie Gering, a quilter at the forefront of the Modern Quilt movement, will present a lecture on the 21st and an all-day class on October 22nd. It's a case of everything old is new again! If you are not familiar with Modern Quilts this will be your chance to be inspired by the crisp, clean modern appearance of these quilts. Get out your solid colors for the backgrounds and create interesting, somewhat minimalist designs.
Look at Jacquie's web site to see her work at tallgrassprairiestudio.blogspot.com, then be prepared to sign up for this class early in the fall.
